In this episode, our host sits down with Rod Foley, President North Mechanical to introduce disJointed and our host to the problems facing leading trade contractors in the built environment.
With North Mechanical since 2000, Rod Foley became part owner in 2015 and works as President overseeing Construction Operations. Prior to joining North, Foley received his BS in Building Construction Management, specializing in mechanical construction, from Purdue University in 2000. He completed the Mechanical Contracting Association of America’s (MCAA’s) Institute of Project Management (IPM) course as a student in 2004, and now serves as a faculty member and instructor. He also completed the advanced course (AIPM) in 2007 and the Advanced Leadership Institute in 2016. Foley currently serves on the MCAA’s national Project Management Education Committee and is a former member of the Technology Committee as well as the BIM committee that developed and published “Achieving Spatial Coordination Through BIM – A Guide for Specialty Contractors”. Foley is also the current Secretary and a Core Group member of the Lean Construction Institute’s Central Indiana Community of Practice.
